The MTV VMAs’ Video Vanguard Award winner, Shakira, dressed for a milestone night on the red carpet. The 46-year-old singer opted for glitz and a little skin on the red carpet, wearing gold cutout Versace dress with Piferi platforms. Her hair was styled down in waves.

Shakira posed solo as she arrived. In addition to taking home this year’s Video Vanguard Award, Shakira is nominated for Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration (for “TQG” with Karol G), and Best Latin Song. For Best Latin Song, she has two songs up for the honor, “TQG” with Karol G and her own “Acróstico.”
